The mistress in the GPS says I'm getting near To think I went to find myself and found myself back here The sign says Grand Oak Village where the Grand Oak used to stand I ain't lost, but I don't know where I am I used to walk and run these streets, I knew my way back then I pulled into a station and recognized my high school friend Long time no see buddy, say can you help me Sam I ain't lost, but I don't know where I am I've been driving round in circles and it's messing with my mind Thought I was going forward but it was backwards all the time Do I look as different as the old town looks to me Am I still her hometown hero or just what used to be I scribbled down direction and got back in my car I swear that Walgreen's used to be the Old Red Rooster Bar I feel like some stranger in a far and distant land I ain't lost, but I don't know where I am I was traveling round in circles and it was messing with her mind She was waiting for an answer I couldn't give her at the time Now I know I need her but did I push her love too far I was all she ever wanted once upon a wishing star I slowed down on Maple Street but I just drove on past A loving wife and children were playing in the grass She was my Molly Elliott but now her mailbox says Moran I ain't lost, but I don't know where I am You can't relive old memories they're just markers in the sand I ain't lost, but I don't know where I am

With a full tank of gas...I laid the rubber down This fight would be our last ...I yelled baby I'm out I didn't really know...where I was gonna go But I knew I was leavin' She's 20 miles back...20 miles back She wrote I love you in the dust on my dash Found her picture in my pocket, I miss you on the back It got me thinkin' what am I thinkin' Leavin' her behind 20 miles back...20 miles back Sittin' on the shoulder, semis blowin' by I'm thirty minutes older and twice as wise There's only one woman I want in my life And I know that's where my heart's at 20 miles back Well I came to my senses and got her on the phone Tryin' to mend our fences don't want to go it alone I'll come back and get you I'll try to make it right I know I was wrong 20 miles back...20 miles back Sittin' on the shoulder, semis blowin' by I'm thirty minutes older and twice as wise There's only one woman I want in my life And I know that's where my heart's at 20 miles back I'll be burnin' up the highway Driving crazy, passing traffic like a maniac To get that 20 miles back Sittin' on the shoulder, semis blowin' by I'm thirty minutes older and twice as wise There's only one woman I want in my life And I know that's where my hearts at 20 miles back

I wrote another letter I know she’ll never read I keep trying to get her to take a call from me All I want is one more minute to tell her I was wrong and I admit it She won’t take my calls, talk to me at all I’ve sent roses, letters, cards and emails She’s never coming back; in my heart I know it So why do I keep wasting roses My life plays like a movie, she’s in every scene Our boy's baseball star; the twins turned sweet sixteen Every time I try to keep them in my life She won’t take my calls, won’t talk to me at all I’ve sent roses, letters, cards and emails She’s never coming back; in my heart I know it So why do I keep wasting roses I swear I’ve done everything I can think of How in the hell do I fall out of love She won’t take my calls, won’t talk to me at all I’ve sent roses, letters, cards and emails She took the kids and left, I never would have guessed Now the sign in my front yard says home for sale She’s never coming back; in my heart I know it So why do I keep wasting roses Why do I keep wasting roses

Ain’t it amazing the changes that come about When you find someone you can’t live without That math you were taught ain’t a lot But it all adds up to what you ain’t got Two can eat as cheap as one As long as one don’t get none You want to give her more; your jaw hits the floor Sticker shock at the jewelry store You can’t cash out, need a discount For a symbol of love that leaves no doubt It’s a Walmart wedding ring Itty bitty, teeny-weeny, Hope diamond Tied to her heartstrings, Oh it’s her everything Her Walmart wedding ring Ten hour days, six days week School at night to get his degree It all paid off, got a better job Raisin’ three kids in the house they bought She didn’t know it but on the side He had a little bank account with money he’d hide So he could afford to pay cash for A bigger ring than he bought before You’d never guessed what happened next She slide that ring right up against Her Walmart wedding ring Itty-bitty, teeny-weeny, Hope diamond It’s tied to her heartstrings, Oh it’s her everything Her Walmart wedding ring Men don’t think like women think They can see their whole world in the smallest things Like a Walmart wedding ring Itty-bitty, teeny-weeny, hope diamond Tied to her heartstring, Oh it’s her everything Repeat chorus

On a rain slicked street in the south side of the city The club just closed and the crowd is leavin’ the party Round the corner comes a White Diamond Escalade Blindin’ lights slowin’ down in pistol range There’s a flash of fire, a familiar sound Another young man is taken down Fight the light, Fight the light, He heard himself say Fight the light, Fight the light, Death is just a breath away Fight the light, Fight the light, the afterlife can wait Fight the light, Fight the light, Fight the light Someone stop the bleedin’ a young girl cries for help As she fumbles deep inside her purse to find her buried cell The crowd steps aside as the sirens start to scream He’s surrounded by the faces of the EMTs But he can’t hear them say your gonna be okay He’s too busy prayin’ the angels away Fight the light, Fight the light, He heard himself say Fight the light, Fight the light, Death’s a breath away Fight the light, Fight the light, the afterlife can wait Fight the light, Fight the light, Fight the light He can’t wait till he’s back in the streets With his heart full of grace and sermon he must preach Fight the light, Fight the light, He heard himself say Fight the light, Fight the light, Death’s a breath away Fight the light, Fight the light, the afterlife can wait Fight the light, Fight the light, Fight the light

Healing 04:07
Silt and sand break through the levees Buildings fall far beyond the strand Waters rage with deadly power Families run for shelter through the rain Waging war cost our sons and daughters Quakes shake down our cities and homes Mothers cry for newborn babies Buried in the rubble of a storm Now’s the time to pray for healing When we’re feeling like giving in We cannot hide our hearts in darkness Beneath the scars, deeper than our skin Let the healing begin We have a need for deep reflection Heads bowed down in the palms of our hands Kneeling here on this earthly alter Where healing of our hearts begin Now’s the time to pray for healing When we’re feeling like giving in We cannot hide our hearts in darkness Beneath the scars, deeper than our skin Let the healing begin We’re not alone in sorrow as we search for peace within Finding comfort in tomorrow building back our lives again Now’s the time to pray for healing When we’re feeling like giving in We cannot hide our hearts in darkness Beneath the scars, deeper than our skin Let the healing begin; Let the healing begin

I was drinkin’ at the Sand Bar down by the sea shore They was packed like sardines out on the dance floor When in come a red hot drop dead tall blond Lookin’ for a big fish in this little pond The look she sent me put me in a feeding frenzy Blood in the water on the neon sea Cute little fishy just swam by me Headin’ for the deep end shakin’ that tail fin Sharks at the Sand Bar showing them teeth She rolls her tide like a wave on the ocean I’m a big Great White and I’ve got a notion Gonna eat her up, yum, boys don’t even bother Get out of my way there’s blood in the water She was cornered by a Hammerhead, tall dark and scaly Something in her eyes said somebody save me I sized him up like whale does a guppy I ran him off like a dog does a puppy I was gonna save her for a chomp, chomp later Blood in the water on the neon sea Cute little fishy just swam by me Headin’ for the deep end shakin’ that tail fin Sharks at the Sand Bar showing them teeth She rolls her tide like a wave on the ocean I’m a big Great White and I’ve got a notion Gonna eat her up, yum, boys don’t even bother Get out of my way there’s blood in the water She lured me in and I took the bait She knew I was hooked soon as I got a taste Blood in the water on the neon sea Cute little fishy just swam by me Headin’ for the deep end shakin’ that tail fin Sharks at the Sand Bar showing them teeth She rolls her tide like a wave on the ocean I’m a big Great White and I’ve got a notion Gonna eat her up, yum, boys don’t even bother Get out of my way there’s blood in the water

Hey there cutie in the skin-tight tank top Pink flip-flops and hip huggin’ jeans Got my heart going near ‘bout non-stop How ‘bout a Bud and some hot wings It’s a good thing If you’re lookin’ for a love machine Baby I’m the real thing I want you and I’m feeling no shame It’s a good thing I’ve got a head full of home grown come-ons But I don’t like “Honey what’s your sign?” We can dance real slow to a George Straight love song Have a little nip of my new moonshine It’s a good thing If you’re lookin’ for a love machine Baby I’m the real thing I want you and I’m feeling no shame It’s a good thing It’s like a birthday, Christmas and the 4th of July All rolled up in a Saturday night It’s 3 big 7s on a slot machine It’s the last day of school when you hear the bell ring It’s a good thing It’s a good thing If you’re lookin’ for a love machine Baby it’s the real thing I want you and I’m feeling no shame, no pain It’s a good thing

Yesterday someone said Heaven’s a vision dreamed up in our heads But they never felt that river rush The truth in your kiss; the love in your touch If this isn’t heaven, what else could it be You lying soft on my shoulder like an angel‘s wing You and me loving each other tonight If this isn’t heaven, this is paradise Who am I to be so blessed The one you love over all the rest You could have had any man on earth I’ve loved you from the very start Love comes easy when it comes from the heart If this isn’t heaven, what else could it be You lying soft on my shoulder like an angel wing You and me loving each other tonight If this isn’t heaven, this is paradise If I’m only dreaming, let me dream on I’d rather be dreaming than wake up with you gone If this isn’t heaven, what else could it be You lying soft on my shoulder like an angel’s wing You and me loving each other tonight If this isn’t heaven, this is paradise
